Bij Dierenartsen Zonder Grenzen staat Sarah Farrand (algemeen bestuurslid) aangeschreven als functionaris voor de gegevensbescherming (FG).<\/p>\n<p><b>For what purpose does Vets Without Borders process your data?<br \/>\n<\/b>V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires Sans Fronti\u00e8res-NL processes your (personal) data for the following purposes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><i>Sending service related messages<\/i><\/li>\n<li><em>Fundraising<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Processing the payment when you make a donation<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Releasing Capita Selecta points (for Veterinary Medicine students)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Information is collected and used for Vaccinate 4 Africa to liaise with participating practices, send promotional materials, and alert pet owners of practices participation.\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What data do we collect?<br \/>\n<\/b><i>Personal data<br \/>\n<\/i>When someone signs up to be a donor to V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires Sans Fronti\u00e8res-NL, at least the following personal data are required to be passed on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name<\/li>\n<li>E-mail address<\/li>\n<li>Address<\/li>\n<li>Account number (IBAN)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This information is used for our donor administration and for collecting the donation.<br \/>\nIn addition, there is an option to be informed about V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires Sans Fronti\u00e8res Netherlands by means of a digital newsletter. In that case, the above data will also be used for sending the newsletter.<\/p>\n<p><i>Registration activities<br \/>\n<\/i>When someone attends an activity organized by V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires Sans Fronti\u00e8res-NL, again (some of) the above information is collected. Name and initials, starting year of veterinary studies, date of birth and college card number are noted. This is firstly for the overview of the number of donors who came and secondly for awarding Capita Selecta points. These are points that Veterinary Medicine students can accumulate to obtain a certificate, showing that he\/she has been active outside the study.<\/p>\n<p>For the Vaccinate 4 Africa campaign, the following data is collected: practice name, contact person, email address, telephone number, practice address, number of branches.<\/p>\n<p><b>Who can access your data?<br \/>\n<\/b><i>V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires Sans Fronti\u00e8res<br \/>\n<\/i>V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires Sans Fronti\u00e8res Netherlands has access to all personal data entered to keep a good overview of the donors, to execute collections, to approach people for committees, to register people for activities, and to send service-related messages.<\/p>\n<p><i>Committees<br \/>\n<\/i>Committees under V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires Sans Fronti\u00e8res may have access to necessary data upon request and with the approval of V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires Sans Fronti\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p><i>Mailchimp<br \/>\n<\/i>V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires Sans Fronti\u00e8res Netherlands uses \u201cMailchimp\u201d to send the newsletter and other emails. In addition, V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires Sans Fronti\u00e8res Netherlands imports the e-mail addresses in Mailchimp to keep the data up-to-date.<\/p>\n<p><i>Website<br \/>\n<\/i>Occasionally photos of activities are posted on the website of V\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires Sans Fronti\u00e8res Netherlands.
