My name is Lara, I’m 21 years old, and I’m a second-year veterinary medicine student. Last year, I got involved with the DZG Education Committee, which gave me the opportunity to teach guest lessons at elementary schools! I absolutely love traveling, which is why I enjoy DZG so much!
I'm really excited about this year and looking forward to some fun new projects!

My name is Elisa, I'm 21 years old, and I'm currently in my third year of my bachelor's degree.
Ever since I was a child, I’ve had a passion for animals and travel, which is why I feel completely at home at DZG-student! Last year, I became active on the education committee, where I’ve already had the opportunity to teach many fun guest lectures. I’m thrilled to be taking on this committee this year!
As secretary, I create the membership cards, monitor our email, and am responsible for the supplies. We regularly receive donations of supplies from medical practices, which students can then take with them to their internship sites.
I'm really excited about the coming year and look forward to creating something wonderful together!

My name is Femke, I'm 21 years old, and I'm currently in my first year of the master's program in veterinary medicine.
Last year, I traveled to Malawi with a few fellow students, where I was able to observe and help with DZG’s projects. It was an amazing experience! That’s why, after serving on the activities committee, I’ll be taking on the roles of treasurer and project coordinator this year. I’m looking forward to making a difference for farmers and people in developing countries!

My name is Daniëlle, I’m 22 years old, and I’m currently waiting to start my master’s program in Veterinary Medicine. Ever since I was little, it’s been my dream to travel the world and help animals and people who are struggling more than we are. During high school, I was able to contribute to this cause on several occasions, and I’m really looking forward to continuing this work with DZG-Student! I recently had the honor of becoming the internal coordinator for this wonderful organization. I’ve been happily involved with the project committee for a while now, and I’ve recently joined the Vaccinate4Africa committee as well. I’m really looking forward to keeping you all updated over the coming year on all the great things we’re doing and all the fun activities we’re organizing!

I’m Lisa, 22 years old, and I just finished my bachelor’s degree. I’ll be starting my master’s program soon. Like everyone else in my program, I absolutely love animals, which is why I’d like to dedicate myself to animal welfare. After having the opportunity to organize DZG’s Lustrum last year, joining the board is a really exciting step. I’m really looking forward to getting started as External Coordinator. I’ll mainly be focusing on the internship handbook and maintaining contact with external partners. So if you’re still looking for a great internship, you’ve come to the right place. I’ll also be focusing on sponsorship this year. Plus, I get to chair the most fun activity of the year—the Run4Rabies Committee. In short, I’m incredibly excited to go out and achieve even more this year!
