For what purpose does Vets Without Borders process your data?
Dierenartsen Zonder Grenzen-NL verwerkt uw (persoons)gegevens voor de volgende doelen:

Het versturen van servicegerelateerde berichten (Servicegerelateerde berichten zijn onder andere onze nieuwsbrief);

What data do we collect?
Personal data
When someone signs up to be a donor to Vétérinaires Sans Frontières-NL, at least the following personal data are required to be passed on:

This data is used for our donor administration and donation collection. In addition, someone who has signed up as a donator is informed about Vétérinaires Sans Frontières-NL by means of a digital newsletter. The above data are used for sending the newsletter.
Registration activities
When someone attends an activity organized by Vétérinaires Sans Frontières-NL, again (some of) the above information is collected. Name and initials, starting year of veterinary studies, date of birth and college card number are noted. This is firstly for the overview of the number of donors who came and secondly for awarding Capita Selecta points. These are points that Veterinary Medicine students can accumulate to obtain a certificate, showing that he/she has been active outside the study.
For Vaccination For Africa, the following information is collected: name, contact person, e-mail address, phone number, practice address, number of offices.
Who can access your data?

Vétérinaires Sans Frontières has access to all personal data entered in order to maintain a proper record of donors, perform collections, approach individuals for committees, register for activities and send service related messages.
Committees
Committees under Vétérinaires Sans Frontières may have access to necessary data upon request and with the approval of Vétérinaires Sans Frontières.
Mailchimp
Vétérinaires Sans Frontières uses 'Mailchimp' to send the newsletter and other emails. In addition, Vétérinaires Sans Frontières imports email addresses into Mailchimp to keep the data accurate.
Website
The website of Vétérinaires Sans Frontières occasionally posts photos of activities. These photos can be viewed by anyone who visits the site. If you have any objections about a posted photo, please contact coordinator@dierenartsenzondergrenzen.nl. We take the protection of your data very seriously. Our site is hosted at bHosted and uses a reliable SSL certificate from Let’s encrypt.

Vétérinaires Sans Frontières uses Google (G-mail) to send emails.
Social media
Vétérinaires Sans Frontières uses the following social media: Facebook, Instagram and Linked-In. These are used to promote activities and for other news. All facebook users can be invited to events. Participation in these media is entirely voluntary.

www.dierenartsenzondergrenzen.nl may contain links to third-party websites, which may have different privacy policies. We are not responsible for the activities and practices that take place on these websites. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of those sites.
How long do we store your data?
When a donor unsubscribes, all data of the former donor will be kept for at least seven years, unless the former donor objects. We may use this data to invite the former donor to future activities of Vétérinaires Sans Frontières.
What are your rights?
Vétérinaires Sans Frontières processes your personal data only on the basis of your consent. By actively consenting to the processing of personal data when registering, you consent to the processing of your personal data by Vétérinaires Sans Frontières as described in this privacy statement. Of course, you can withdraw your consent at any time. We will then remove your data.
Viewing your data

Right to data transfer
You have the right to portability of your personal data. We may make your personal data available for you to reuse.
